Not snowboarder Shaun White. Not figure skater Ashley Wagner. A Coke commercial.
Even crazier: Who could have imagined that the commercial, a 90-second version of the song America the Beautiful, would become a social-media hot button about what is or isn't American? The issue: language. More specifically: languages. There are seven in all, performing one of the nation's most iconic ballads.
Besides English, there's Spanish, Keres, Tagalog, Hindi, Senegalese French and Hebrew. The images vary from expansive scenes of the West to neighborhood cafes. A similar 60-second version of the ad aired during the Super Bowl. It caused a bigger ruckus than all the other Super Bowl commercials combined.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Dan Caplinger]
At least for now, competition doesn't seem to be weighing against Smith & Wesson. TASER (NASDAQ: TASR ) has seen a ramp-up in growth prospects, but it's drawing at least as much of its business from law enforcement and other government purchases rather than private sales. An interesting competitive threat comes from the potential to use 3-D printers to produce firearms, but with the State Department having clamped down on one such gun maker, such efforts won't be large enough in scale for the foreseeable future.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By WWW.GURUFOCUS.COM]
Several of our holdings posted strong returns this quarter. Real estate specialist JLL Inc. (JLL), previously known as Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., surged +15.73% due to a strong earnings report. Specifically, in late January the company reported better-than-expecte d (adjusted) earnings per share (EPS) of $3.33; the Street expected $3.09. Revenues topped forecasts, $1.5 billion rather than $1.3 billion. In addition, the company's operating results were boosted by solid investment sales, facility management services and momentum in leasing revenues. Moreover, management signaled continued improvemen ts across its businesses. The market is still applying a cautiously cyclical set of expectations to this firm, but we believe its gradual growth is more secular in nature. 2. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) The REIT is another alternative vehicle that's gone mainstream in recent years. Hundreds of broad-based and specialized real estate companies and ETFs are available, and after a correction a few months ago, many are on the cheap side. Like any other alternative, this should be a seasoning for your portfolio and not the sauce itself. For most retail investors, a stake in an indexed fund like the SPDR Dow Jones REIT (NYSE: RWR) should be more than adequate, or look into the companies that provide services to the REIT industry like HFF (NYSE: HF) and Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL).

Advisors' Opinion:- [By James E. Brumley]
While it may be melodramatic to say my following of Liquidmetal Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:LQMT) has been something of a 'saga', it wouldn't be unfair to say it's one of those small cap stocks that's had its fair share of twists and turns. Yours truly turned explicitly bullish on LQMT back on November 22nd, after the stock broke above a key falling resistance lines. Then, on January 14th, I made a point of saying the rally had run its course, and it was time to lock in your 47% gain on Liquidmetal Technologies and walk away... at least for a while.

Despite what can best be described as asoft economy, small cap trucking stocks YRC Worldwide, Inc (NASDAQ: YRCW), Arkansas Best Corporation (NASDAQ: ABFS), Frozen Food Express Industries, Inc (NASDAQ: FFEX), Saia Inc (NASDAQ: SAIA) and USA Truck, Inc (NASDAQ: USAK) have been trucking some pretty impressive returns since the start of the year. In fact, these small cap trucking stocks are up anywhere from 72% to 150% or so since the start of the year despite the slow economy. Certainly trucking stocks provide a good indicator of how the economy is doing, but might investors bejumping the gun by pushing up these trucking stocks?
